Valencia Airport is VLC and has 1 terminal and 2 runways; the shorter runway is not in use but has a helipad on the Southwest Area.

Valencia Airport is situated on the highway A3 and it connects Madrid with Valencia and is also near A7 highway which connects to Barcelona and France as well. Since Valencia is situated centrally on the eastern coastline of Spain, it is readily accessible from all over Europe.

The public transportation to the Airport is excellent and is well serviced. The airport is linked to Valencia by a standard bus service that takes approximately 45 minutes. The shuttle (Aerobus) to the city centre takes no more than 20 minutes. Due to the distances and waiting times we recommend renting a car at Valencia Airport.

You will also find the metro which also connects the city centre to the airport. The metro has two underground lines which links the airport to the city centre. The two lines are line 3 and line 5. The journey via the metro takes just about 25 minutes.
